Well it looks like the Italians knew something when they created so many delicious tomato pastes. Tomatoes are actually a superfood because they’re very high in lycopene, and lycopene is a mineral that’s been proven to reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer. Believe it or not including tomatoes in your diet will also improve your eyesight. It’s a very nutrient dense food as well, loaded with vitamins C and E. One of the things I like to do with my tomatoes is I like to take cherry tomatoes and chop them up and eat them as a snack, and my dog, Boey, likes to eat them as well. So go ahead and keep adding in those tomoatoes, to your salads and your sauces, and you’ll be on your way to improving your health.
